What began as a chance visit to Barcelona Cathedral to escape the mid-August sun, led photographer Laurence Stephens to spend the next three summers traversing the cultural landscapes of Spain and Portugal. Laurence Stephens is a British documentary photographer. Inspired by colour photographers of the 1980s, his approach is anthropological, exploring aspects of modern life with a satirical eye.
